Two-Day Event Draws 300+ Participants from Various Sectors
“Zhangjiagang, China played host to the fruitful Manroland World Tour, a two-day event that attracted over 300 participants, including local government officials, industry experts, printers, media representatives, and German international students specializing in printing.
On the inaugural day, Ms. Fanny Chen, Managing Director of Manroland Greater China, welcomed attendees and introduced the Manroland China headquarters. Emphasizing the significance of China as the tour’s first ‘stop’ and the largest roadshow event in recent times, she expressed hopes for deepening understanding and interaction between Manroland and its Chinese users.
Mr. Vincent Tillemans, Head of Global After Market, underscored Manroland’s “Customer First” principle, aiming to provide a comprehensive range of pre-press, printing, and post-press services, with a focus on tailored solutions for the specific needs of Chinese users.
During the event, Ms. Wang Lijie, Editor-in-Chief of Keyin Media, delivered a speech on “Analysis of Current Situation and Insight into Trends in the Printing Industry,” providing valuable market insights through detailed data analysis.
Following the speeches, participants engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges in three showrooms, covering topics such as technical applications, service experience improvement, and practical aspects of green printing. The lively atmosphere was marked by enthusiastic sharing of experiences and views.
The second day featured a round table discussion on “Thinking about Digital Transformation?” moderated by Ms. Wang Lijie. Participants, including Mr. Liu Linlin from Xi’an University of Science and Technology, Mr. Wang Jianhua from Kunshan KAVA Printing Co., Ltd., and Mr. Roy Guo, Head of Sheetfed Sales for Greater China, shared unique perspectives and engaged in an interactive Q&A session, providing valuable insights for all participants.
A highlight of the event was a visit to Suzhou Hengchen Printing Technology Co., Ltd., where visitors experienced close encounters with small, medium, large and extra-large format equipment, witnessing the impressive operation of Manroland presses. The newly installed ROLAND 900 XXL showcased a full-size printing sample on-site.
The Manroland World Tour China Stop offered a rich and diverse program, providing participants with insights into industry trends, market analysis, and the latest technologies and products from manroland.
