50 million impressions in 9 months

Manroland’s Evolution press meets the challenge

Increasing customer demands, pricing pressures and shorter turnaround times all combine to put sheetfed press owners’ assets to the test on a daily basis.

“Printers tell us that growth demands are paramount to their continued success” observes Dr. Peter Conrady, Head of International Sales, Manroland Sheetfed GmbH ” the demand is for speed, improved make-ready times and as much in-line, one-pass efficiency as possible.”

In November 2019, Manroland reported that Gabwoo MoonHwaSa, a leading print house in the Republic of Korea, had achieved a production record of 50 million impressions in 9 months with its newly installed ROLAND 700 Evolution. Today the impression counts are at around 62 million and if these levels are maintained a return on investment will be achieved in approx. two years.

Gabwoo MoonHwaSa have always been loyal to the Manroland brand, currently the company is running four presses including two ROLAND 705 HiPrint, a ROLAND 710 DirectDrive Perfecter and their new ROLAND 705 3B Evolution.

In recent years, award-winning Gabwoo MoonHwaSa has expanded it’s business scope in the packaging sector and they are already an established leader in the publishing sector. The addition of a ROLAND 700 Evolution will be key to meet these future demands.

The ROLAND 700 Evolution is now installed in almost very corner of the globe and is the go-to press to meet the boosts in production offering the highest quality print and a customer care programme that is second to none.
